And with all due respect to Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth, I hope she whacked President Trump upside his head with her purse and her Corgi cocked his leg on Trump’s trouser leg.

I thought there were no more royal Corgis? She decided to not get or breed anymore of them because she didn’t want them left behind or something like that.

I was just telling my mom that I believe almost everything 1st hand about this visit. She wasn’t sure what to believe since she saw the president say he hasn’t seen any protesters and also saw someone saying there was a large group of protesters.
The B ritish do a good job of making sure they keep up appearances. I’m certain they’ve kept the protests and Trump quite separate - even if they have to follow him around closing window shades. The British also aren’t big into protests so I’m sure the protest is pretty big for them.
I give the entire thing a yawn out of 10.

That’s some expert level trolling right there.

They were the same people who cheered at the most highly-attended inauguration ever.

That sounds reasonable. I actually tried to show her some respect in my post because I believe the POTUS to be way beneath her.

No more Corgis but she still has two Dorgis (Corgi/ Dachshund mixes) last I saw.

I honestly don’t believe that. I’ve worked around enough CEOs to see exactly what he is - a person with CEO-itis.

I’d love to run with this with you, but over some fries or something, and not here.
I’d put CEO-itis into the poor leadership bucket and this would support my impression that the POTUS is a very poor leader, relative skin thickness notwithstanding.

There’s something special about CEO-itis. I have stories for days about it. Ask me sometime about how I ended up carrying misused prescription drugs to a CEO in Europe to preserve my own job .
What part of the bay area are you in? We need to set something up.

I feel like if the queen told me she was disappointed with me, i would feel like my grandma told me that :(

Why would a rich white lady who doesn’t have to work for a living and was given all her wealth whack Trump upside the head?

The British are pretty into protesting. They’re who us ‘Muricans got it from. And keeping up appearances? The mayor of freaking London came out against the visit. They scream and yell at each other during political debates. Hyde Park has a corner dedicated to protesting whatever the hell you want. They just had riots in London not too long ago. Not really sure which Britons you’re describing, but they certainly aren’t Londoners.

My experience is mainly with the Scottish. I spent about 6 months there working with, in part, people from Scottish and UK government.

Obviously. Just pointing out there’s probably quite a bit of understanding between people who have never worked a day in their lives.

Oh, now I get it! I'm a little slow... Right. Thank you for clarifying that... But Trump is so beneath Queen Elizabeth...

What was funny was hearing Drunpf talk about how much he likes Boris Johnson while pictures of both of them side by side were shown. They are disgusting twins.

Well, we all know by now that Trump is into election interference, whether at home or abroad.
